Founded in Prague in 2018 by creative innovator Tomáš Ric, PIGMENTARIUM is an independent perfume house built on a single conviction: fragrance is original artistic expression. Not a reflection of trends. Not a commercial exercise. A deeply personal creation that dresses a personality and reveals only as much as its wearer chooses to show.

Every PIGMENTARIUM fragrance is an olfactory transcription of dreams and thoughts — complex, high-concentration compositions built from the finest essential oils and raw materials. Each scent evolves for hours, even days, adapting through the house's signature use of musk to the chemistry of its wearer. No two people will carry the same fragrance the same way.

The house's early creative vision was shaped by the architects and designers of Czech and international modernism — figures whose work captured an essence, whose purity of form still resonates today. From that foundation, PIGMENTARIUM has grown into a living dialogue between perfumery and contemporary art, where each fragrance has inspired visual works, and each object blurs the line between decoration and function.

Craftsmanship is at the core of everything the house produces. Czech artisans, small family-run workshops, and producers sourced directly from their place of origin all contribute to PIGMENTARIUM's meticulously controlled, small-batch creations — from hand-folded paper boxes and original porcelain to fragrance ingredients sourced at their origin.
